Thank you for choosing UTECH products. We are committed to providing you with high-quality products and services. This Limited Warranty outlines your rights and our obligations should your UTECH product require warranty service.

WARRANTY PERIOD
UTECH products ("Product") are covered by a one-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the main device (e.g., AR Glasses) and its battery. Accessories, including but not limited to ring controllers, are not covered by this Limited Warranty.

SCOPE OF LIMITED WARRANTY
This Limited Warranty applies exclusively to UTECH products purchased directly from the official UTECH website (https://www.UTECHwear.com/). Products purchased through any other channels, including second-hand purchases (even if the product is new and unused), are not covered by this policy. If this Product was purchased from a third-party seller, please refer to that seller's warranty policy.
This Limited Warranty applies only to Products manufactured by or for UTECH and identifiable by the "UTECH" trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
This Limited Warranty does not apply to, and UTECH is not responsible for:

(a) Damage caused by acts of nature or God (e.g., lightning strikes, tornadoes, floods, fire, earthquakes, or other external causes);

(b) Negligence in the use or handling of the Product;

(c) Commercial use of the Product;

(d) Alterations or modifications to any part of the Product;

(e) Damage caused by use with non-UTECH products or accessories;
-
(f) Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, or improper maintenance;

(g) Damage caused by operating the Product outside the permitted or intended uses described by UTECH, or with improper voltage or power supply;

(h) Damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not an authorized representative of UTECH;

(i) Normal wear and tear;

(j) Products where the serial number (SN) or IMEI number has been altered, defaced, or removed;

(k) Issues arising from activating or using the Product in "Developer Mode" without UTECH's prior authorization. Activating developer mode without authorization will void this Limited Warranty, and no return or exchange will be accepted.

DATA BACKUP RESPONSIBILITY
It is your responsibility to back up any data, software, or other materials you may have stored or preserved on the Product. It is likely that such data, software, or other materials will be lost or reformatted during warranty service, and UTECH will not be responsible for any such damage or loss.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS
If your UTECH Product exhibits a defect covered by this Limited Warranty within the Warranty Period, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact UTECH Support: Immediately contact our customer service team at UtechAD001@Gmail.com.

Step 2: Provide Information & Troubleshoot: You will be required to provide the Product's Serial Number (SN) or IMEI number and a video clearly demonstrating the malfunction. Our support team will guide you through online troubleshooting steps to help determine if the issue is a hardware failure. Failure to cooperate with these troubleshooting steps may result in your claim being processed as a "No-Reason Return," subject to the terms of that policy.

Step 3: Obtain Return Authorization: If a hardware failure is confirmed or suspected, UTECH Support will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions, including the correct return address.

Step 4: Return the Product: Securely package the Product and return it as per the provided instructions. Do not return the product to any address found on the original shipping waybill without explicit instruction from UTECH Support. UTECH reserves the right to refuse refunds or service for products returned to an incorrect address or without proper authorization.
Shipping Costs for Warranty Claims (Defects): UTECH will cover the reasonable costs of shipping for Products returned for a defect covered under this Limited Warranty, provided that: a) The defect is verified by UTECH upon inspection and is determined to be a quality issue inherent to the Product (not caused by factors listed under "Warranty Exclusions"). b) The Product is within the active Warranty Period.
You will be responsible for all shipping costs if: a) The Product is determined to be out of warranty. b) The damage or malfunction is found to be due to reasons excluded by this Limited Warranty (e.g., human-caused damage, misuse). c) No defect is found after inspection ("No Fault Found" or NFF).
In cases where you are responsible for shipping costs, UTECH may require payment of these costs before returning the Product to you. For approved warranty claims where UTECH covers shipping, UTECH will typically provide a prepaid shipping label or arrange for product pick-up where feasible. If you are initially required to pay for shipping for a subsequently verified warranty claim, UTECH will reimburse reasonable standard shipping costs upon presentation of a valid receipt.

UTECH'S RESPONSIBILITIES
If a hardware defect covered by this Limited Warranty is found within the Warranty Period, UTECH will, at its sole discretion and as permitted by applicable local law, either:

(a) Repair the Product using new or refurbished parts;

(b) Replace the Product with a new or refurbished Product that is functionally equivalent to the original; or
-
(c) Refund the original purchase price of the Product, subject to applicable local laws and the condition of the returned Product.
This is your sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of this Limited Warranty.

7-DAY NO-REASON RETURN POLICY
UTECH offers a 7-day no-reason return policy, effective from the date the package is delivered to you.

Eligibility: To be eligible for a no-reason return, the Product must be in its original packaging, in the same condition as when delivered (unused and undamaged), with all accessories (e.g., instruction manual, glasses cloth, glasses bag, data cable) complete and intact.

Exclusions: Returns will not be accepted if photos provided prior to return, or inspection upon receipt, show signs of human-induced damage.

Process: To initiate a no-reason return, contact us at UtechAD001@Gmail.com within the 7-day period.

Return Shipping Costs: You are responsible for all shipping costs associated with a no-reason return.

Deductions: If returned items are incomplete or accessories are missing, corresponding fees will be deducted from any refund.

Inspection and Outcome: If, upon inspection, the returned Product does not meet the no-reason return conditions, UTECH will inform you of the inspection results. The Product can be returned to you after you pay the associated shipping fees. UTECH reserves the right to refuse no-reason returns that do not meet these conditions or are initiated beyond the 7-day period.

HANDLING OF NON-UTECH PRODUCTS RETURNED TO UTECH
Any products returned to UTECH that are determined, in UTECH's sole discretion, not to be genuine UTECH products will be considered abnormal returns. In such cases, no refund will be issued, and UTECH will not be responsible for returning the non-UTECH product to the sender.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE LIMITATION
Except as prohibited by applicable local laws, after-sales services shall be limited to the country or region of the original purchase.

PRODUCTS NOT DULY IMPORTED OR MANUFACTURED
To the extent applicable under local laws, Products which were not duly imported into your country, and/or were not duly manufactured by UTECH, and/or were not duly acquired from UTECH or an authorized UTECH seller, are not covered by this Limited Warranty. As per applicable law, you may benefit from warranties from the non-official retailer who sold the Product. Therefore, UTECH advises you to contact the seller from whom you purchased such a product.

IMPLIED WARRANTIES
EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the duration of an implied warranty, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

LIMITATION OF DAMAGES
EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, UTECH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF UTECH HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This Limited Warranty is intended for use in various jurisdictions. The rights and obligations of the parties under this Limited Warranty shall be interpreted and enforced in a manner consistent with the mandatory consumer protection laws of the jurisdiction where you, the original purchaser, acquired the Product from UTECH or an authorized UTECH reseller. UTECH is committed to upholding your statutory rights as a consumer under such applicable local laws. For purchases made directly from the official UTECH website (https://www.UTECHwear.com/), the terms and conditions of sale agreed to at the time of purchase may provide further specifics on the applicable governing law; otherwise, the principles outlined herein regarding local consumer protection laws will guide the resolution of any disputes."
